Natalia Markova, Recent WWE Performance Center Tryout Attendee, Set For AEW Debut

WWE recently had several names in for tryout who have appeared on AEW Dark. Now the situation is going the other way around as Natalia Markova, who was just at the WWE Performance Center for a tryout, is set to make her AEW debut.

Markova is going to perform on AEW Dark: Elevation next week. She will face Leyla Hirsch in singles action. This will also mark Markova’s debut for the company.

We will have to see if this booking encourages WWE to give her a call. That was also Markova’s second tryout with Vince McMahon’s company. She is looking to work more as the pandemic stopped her momentum in its tracks last year.

As Ringside News exclusively reported, Markova became a free agent while holding the SHINE Nova Championship. She has since tried out for WWE and is now appearing for AEW. Odds are fans have not seen the last of her at all.

“You happy to watch me on #AEWDark Elevation this Monday?” Markova tweeted out along with a graphic to hype her match. She also used an emoji to illustrate her excitement.
