AEW has a problem backstage with their Executive Vice Presidents. The honeymoon phase is over and the in-fighting has apparently begun. This extra conflict has reportedly caused one name to think twice about joining them.

We previously covered how it is becoming real issue backstage in AEW. No specifics about what people are fighting about has been revealed, but some EVPs are said to have stopped talking to each other.

Jason Powell said on the PW Torch podcast that he heard of one very big “would-be difference maker” who has the opinion that the EVPs are all fighting which makes them hesitant to join.

“If that is not happening, they need to clear up that misconception. I do think it’s happening.” He continued, “there’s a would-be difference maker who could go there that has that opinion that there’s all this in-fighting and this person for that reason is hesitant to go there.”

It was not mentioned who that “would-be difference maker is.” Samoa Joe and Daniel Bryan are both on the market. He could have been talking about CM Punk for all we know. The fact is that AEW seems to have an issue backstage within their leadership. We will have to see how long it takes before we start to see some of that tension play out on television.

What should AEW do to fix this issue? Sound off in the comments!
