Orange Cassidy Legit Knocked Out Cold During AEW Dynamite

AEW Dynamite included a big match and they were forced to call an audible during the finish. Orange Cassidy and Pac battled in a #1 contender match, but Freshly Squeezed could not continue after being knocked unconscious.

Orange Cassidy and Pac battled on Dynamite this week, but their match did not end according to plan. The finish had to be changed when Cassidy was knocked out cold on live television.

The two were set to wrestle for twenty minute draw according to PW Insider. That is not what happened. Instead of declaring winner, Tony Schiavone then came out and announced that a triple threat match will take place at AEW Double Or Nothing for the AEW World Title.

The original plan for the Orange Cassidy vs. Pac match tonight on Dynamite was for the two to go to a 20 minute draw, leading to the announcement of a three-way with Kenny Omega at Double or Nothing.   

As you can see in the video below, Cassidy took a stiff kick to the head that sent Orange Cassidy down. This was a hard shot to take, but it was noted that the sunset bomb to the floor might have been the actual spot that did Orange Cassidy in.
