Ever since Matt Riddle signed with WWE, he has been one of the mainstays of WWE television, be it in NXT or the main roster. His in-ring skills is one of best in the company and he already has a good fan following.
Riddle is currently teaming up with Randy Orton on Monday Night RAW as team RK-Bro. While speaking on the podcast 83 Weeks, WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Bischoff was asked who he sees as the future of the pro wrestling world.
Bischoff said that Matt Riddle will be the future of pro wrestling. Bischoff added that Riddle will only keep on improving with time and his team with Randy Orton will help him grow immensely.
”This one will shock people maybe, but Matt Riddle. I’m kind of digging it. He’s different, and he’s good. He’s gonna get better and better and better. I love the Randy Orton and Matt Riddle combination. I don’t know if it’s long-term, but there’s a buddy cop movie that takes place in the ring. You’re talking about two different types of personalities that could really play well off of each other.”
Riddle and Orton are expected to receive a huge push in the coming weeks on Monday Night RAW. We will have to see if they will eventually win tag team gold.
