The pro wrestling world is all about ownership of intellectual property and Goldberg knows this all too well. He has just laid down two very interesting trademarks that will keep people from infringing on his brand.

According to recent filings, Goldberg filed two trademarks on April 30th with the help of “Gimmick Attorney” Michael E Dockins. These trademarks revolve around designs associated with Goldberg.

One of those trademarks is a description of his famous armband tattoo. He’s had that tattoo for decades, but now he wants to make sure that nobody else can use it in any way. He filed a trademark for use in merchandise. The second design was a skull image.

Goldberg still has a few matches left in his WWE deal. He is contracted to wrestle twice a year, meaning he has at least one more match this year. It appears that Goldberg will own the design on his own arm when that match comes around.
