Impact Wrestling crowned Kenny Omega as their top champion at Rebellion, but he’s not the only unusual champion on the roster. The company’s Tag Team Champions, FinnJuice, are also from another company.

According toFightful, Impact Wrestling has an issue with their champions at the moment. All of them are either from another company, not signed to a deal, or their contracts are running up very soon. This isn’t viewed as unordinary at this point.

Talent we’ve spoke to said this isn’t that out of the ordinary of late, and it’s showed them that there are still opportunities even if they’re not locked into a long-term deal.

It can be seen as a good thing that Impact Wrestling is willing to do big business even if someone isn’t locked into a long deal. The company would still likely benefit from having a champion on their roster that they can eventually push in the long term.
