Sadie Gibbs was signed by AEW, but then they had to release her during the pandemic. She was stuck in the U.K and was unable to make it to the Nightmare Factory to train.

Gibbs was days away from making the move to Norcross, Georgia to train fulltime with AEW when the pandemic hit. She did not lose hope that she will make a pro wrestling return. Now she has revealed that her time in pro wrestling is done.

Sadie Gibbs revealed on an Instagram video that she has officially retired from professional wrestling.

Hope you can watch this & minute showreel!
Of all my best moments and show your love and support in the comments below. Letting go is never easy but it’s necessary.

It’s been a really confusing year and half for me, but I’ve always been good at following my instinct and letting go AND HAVING NOTHING BUT GRACE IN THE PATH AHEAD OF ME.

I’ve decided in order for me to excel in my new endeavours, coaching speaking teaching BEING THE LEADER which I’ve always been.

I have to let go! And set my intentions on what it is I want from my life and where I see long term sustainable fulfilment.

And those doors are opening and it’s about time I conserved all my energy and focus on this new chapter.

I will forever be THE AMAZING GRACE! I will forever be the GIRL WHO DID A CORKSCREW SASUKE SPECIAL ! I WILL FOREVER BE

We’ll have to see if she makes a return some day. The pro wrestling bug is hard to get out of your system. Timing just didn’t work out for Sadie Gibbs with the pandemic really halting her AEW career. Now she is on to the next chapter in her life.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
