WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle is undoubtedly one of the most talented in-ring pro wrestlers to have competed inside the squared circle. During the earlier years of his career, Kurt Angle teamed up with Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin and were together known as Team Angle.

Team Angle formed in 2002 and would break up in 2003 after losing the WWE Tag Team Championships. Many fans felt that the stable broke up too soon and it seems Angle shares the same sentiments.

While speaking to The Hannibal TV, Kurt Angle touched upon the Team Angle storyline with Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas. Angle said that he regretted Team Angle being split up far too early.

“We created Team Angle, we had a lot of fun. I just don’t think the team lasted as long as it should have. I think it lasted a good 8 months. We should have a good three year run but the company wanted to break us up and have us wrestle each other.”

Kurt Angle’s contributions to the pro wrestling world cannot be understated. Angle had previously revealed that he has  something planned with WWE, so we will have to see if that means he will return to the company eventually.
