LA Knight Has Goals In NXT Before WWE Main Roster

LA Knight arrived in NXT and he’s received a consistent spotlight so far. Still, many wondered why he wasn’t brought to the main roster instead. There is a lot more he wants to do in the black an gold brand before that day comes.

The former Eli Drake from TNA has a lot of eyes on him already. Many fans are also of the opinion that he should have been in WWE years ago.

While speaking to Busted Open Radio, LA Knight said that there is a lot more that he wants to accomplish before getting that WWE main roster call-up.

As soon as this whole deal was set in motion — me coming to NXT and WWE — I had a lot of goals that I wrote down and things that I wanted to do. Let’s say the opportunity came tomorrow and they were like, ‘Hey, we want to send you to SmackDown.’ I’d be like, that’s awesome. At the same time, there would be part of me that’s like, ‘I didn’t accomplish a couple of the goals I set for myself in NXT.’ I’d have a mixed reaction. I’d be more than appreciative, I would love it, and I would go and work my ass off the best I could. At the same time, I’d be thinking ‘there’s work for me to do in NXT.

LA Knight is cutting good promos and getting his character across. He needs to rack up a few more big wins to accomplish some of those goals he set for himself before that main roster call-up takes place.
