Update: Fans are now being allowed back into Raymond James Stadium.

Original: WWE planned for two huge nights of pro wrestling, but they booked the show of shows in the middle of terrible storms. It is slated to rain during both nights of WrestleMania, and night one delivered on that forecast.

Ringside News exclusively reported that WrestleMania is likely going to be delayed due to weather. WWE evacuated all staffers from the stadium. Fans have also been evacuated.

Bryan Alvarez tweeted out after our initial report to confirm that WrestleMania has been put “on hold” for now. We’re not sure what that means, or how long fans will have to wait.

At this exact moment WrestleMania is “on hold”.

WWE planned to welcome back live fans and now they’ll get some very wet ones. We’ll have to see what WWE decides to do. They still have one hour before the show is supposed to start, but it’s not unheard of for it to rain for hours in Florida.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
