John Cena WrestleMania Involvement Wouldn’t Be A Surprise

John Cena isn’t booked for WrestleMania 37. He was unable to make WWE events while filming the Peacemaker spin-off show for HBO Max. Cena might be unable to go through the needed quarantine to re-enter Canada to continue filming, but fans still might see him at Mania.

According to Fightful Select, there is some expectation that John Cena will have something to do during WrestleMania. This hasn’t been publicly announced, but the thought is floating around backstage.

John Cena would likely have been laid out and planned well ahead of time due to his filming schedule, but wrestlers that we spoke to said that they’d be surprised if he didn’t pop up in some capacity.

John Cena could always record a pre-recorded message for the WWE Universe that WWE can play during WrestleMania. The company might even let him wear the Peacemaker suit since Cena has done so many media engagements in that getup so far.

WrestleMania is this weekend, and John Cena will certainly be paying attention. The big question is whether they can find a way to get him on the show.
