Cezar Bononi Still Having Terrible Time Getting His Wife’s Leukemia Treatment Due To Red Tape

Update: AEW’s legal team was able to step up and help in big way. Cezar Bononi’s wife now has an appointment for tomorrow.

Original: Cezar Bononi is in a terrible situation when it comes to his wife’s leukemia treatments. They found a suitable bone marrow donor, but the fact that they need to deal with Brazil during the pandemic has made this situation very difficult.

Bononi updated fans once again as he sent out a message to the U.S. Ambassador for Brazil. He pleaded for them to help because the email that was provided only generated an automatic response. His wife needs help now and she’s not getting it because of red tape.

@USAmbBR Dear Mr. Chapman, I’m reaching out because the email that you told to sent the info replied back with a automated message and did not helped. We got an interview, but Is for the 5th of april, which is too late for her to get the transplant. Please help us.

My wife was diagnosed with leukemia during our first son labor in december, since then she has been going through several chemotherapy session, and she needs a bone marrow transplant, without it there is 80% chances of this disease coming back.

Her sister is a match, but she is in Brazil and we need to bring her over by the end of this week to meet the deadline for the transplant. We already sent proof that all the cost will be covered by the insurance, including her sister costs.
