Andrade had a great run in NXT where he won the NXT Championship. In comparison, his main roster run left much to be desired. It let to him being written off WWE television back in October and he wasn’t seen ever again.
Andrade was granted his release from the company yesterday after requesting the release couple of weeks ago. Andrade made sure to thank everyone he worked with in WWE in a touching farewell message on Twitter.
It garnered a lot of responses from WWE Superstars and that includes a former NXT Champion. Adam Cole took to Twitter and reacted to Andrade’s tweet, as he simply called Andrade one of the best pro wrestlers.
You are one of the best
Andrade and Adam Cole have squared off against each other five times for the NXT Championship, but they were all in house shows and were triple threat affairs. Their last match was at NXT’s Altoona show back in 2017, where El Idolo successfully defended his NXT Championship.
