WWE is always looking to make sure that nobody uses their intellectual property. They have now locked down one more name.

The company filed a trademark on Jessi Kamea on March 15th, 2021. As of this writing, they have not been required to seek written consent.

Kamea was once thought to be a heavy contender as a member of the Retribution stable. Fans swore they spotted her hair under those masks early on. She remained in NXT, but now the company has locked down her name.

She started with WWE’s NXT brand in October 2017 and was in the 2018 Mae Young Classic as well as the 2019 World’s Collide event. We’ll have to see what she does in WWE next now that the company is showing interest in securing her name.
