WWE changed up their writing team in a big way. They added a third lead writer to the mix.

Ringside News has learned that WWE hired Mike Heller as new lead writer. Now they have three lead writers as Heller joins Ed Koskey and Ryan Callahan. There is also a bit of a shakeup as another writer has departed.

As you can see from his LinkedIn profile below, Heller has been with WWE since February 2021. His previous experience included working on the “You Break It, We Buy It” digital series for Jukin Media. He worked for E! prior to that as a writer.

He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006 and he started working for Dickhouse Entertainment after that. Heller’s past experience also includes Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory and Betty White’s prank show Off Their Rockers. He was a consulting producer and writer on Ridiculousness for nearly six years, his longest held position by far.

We will have to see how this shapes out, but it doesn’t really fix the flow of information as Bruce Prichard still has a tight grip on that.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
