WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle was one of the most technically-gifted Superstars to have ever stepped foot inside a WWE ring. Even then, there were some moves he used from wrestlers who came before him.

While speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle talked about the WWE No Way Out 2006 PPV where The Undertaker and Kurt Angle faced each other for the  World Heavyweight Championship.

During the match, Kurt Angle executed a figure four leglock around the ring post on The Undertaker. This modification was made famous by WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart.

Angle revealed that The Undertaker told him to use the move as Bret Hart had locked in the move on The Undertaker as well.

“Well, the Undertaker brought it up because he said Bret Hart used to do it with him, and so I thought it was a pretty cool move, and I think we might have even done the hit on the post.”

Angle admitted that he stole that move from Bret Hart and used it a few times in his career.

“I have done that a couple of times (figure four leglock around the ring post). I got it out of Bret Hart’s playbook. You know, you want to be the best, you have got to steal moves from the best (laughs). You know, it was a great spot in the match, and it worked out really well.”

Kurt Angle shocked the world when he defeated The Undertaker at the No Way Out 2006 pay-per-view, cementing his run as the Wrestling Machine.
