AEW signed Paul Wight after his WWE contract expired. This was a big move for AEW, but they also need to be careful when it comes to signing too many veterans from WWE.

One fan tweeted out saying: “Vince made an offer probably, Paul wanted more than offered (not even referring to $), and they parted amicably. Good for both.”

This fan seems to have the right idea about the situation, because Paul Wight smashed the like button. He didn’t say it himself, but it is pretty clear by Wight liking this response that he simply wanted more from WWE, and money wasn’t the only thing.

Big Show was not happy about his final appearance on WWE television. He was punked out to Randy Orton during Legends Night. His contract expired a short time later which is where we find ourselves today.

Obviously, there was a lot more going on behind the scenes. A lot of WWE Superstars had no clue Big Show was leaving, but he apparently wanted more from the company he had spent over 20 years with.
