WWE Network is moving to Peacock, and that is being regarded as a big win backstage in the company. Others might not be too thrilled about it.

According to Fightful Select, talent didn’t hear about this news until it broke this morning. Some had the first impression that even more eyes will be on WWE with Peacock.

Another “top name in the company” had a “pessimistic” approach to the situation. They didn’t care as long as it doesn’t change their pay.

Another top name in the company took a more pessimistic approach and said they didn’t care where they were distributed unless it affects their pay. Still, no negativity emerged from that conversation as they confirmed it was a big move for WWE.

WWE is set to make $1 billion over the next five years with this new deal. That is quite a big contract and it will also mean the closure of the original WWE Network.

The new deal with WWE and Peacock is only supposed to affect subscribers in the United States. All other countries will likely be able to carry on as usual.
