AEW has to keep their eye on a lot of things when deciding on a pay-per-view date. They have reportedly decided to move Revolution to avoid big competition.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW is moving back the date of their Revolution pay-per-view due to the possibility of a Jake Paul boxing pay-per-view. The previous date for Revolution was previously February 27th.

It is reported that AEW is currently mulling over two different dates in March. They will either land on Saturday, March 6th or Sunday, March 7th for their next pay-per-view at Daily’s Place.

The Revolution PPV is being moved. We’ve heard possible dates of either 3/6 or 3/7 at Daily’s Place. The original date of 2/27 has been talked about as possibly a Jake Paul PPV, although with that date coming closer and nothing signed, the odds of that match happening would seem to be decreasing.

AEW’s next special event is Beach Break on February 3rd. Moving Revolution back will also allow them to have even more time before they have to get everything in line for the event.

Nothing has been officially announced from AEW yet. It was rather interesting that Sting and Darby Allin vs Brian Cage and Ricky Starks’ match was announced without any date mentioned.
