Impact Wrestling’s Hard To Kill event is tonight, and EC3 posted some very interesting tweets about his time in the company.

EC3 said that he talked to Impact Wrestling about a contract, but they wanted a longer commitment. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to be locked into a lengthy deal after his WWE exit. He posted multiple tweets on the afternoon prior to Hard To Kill about why he picked Moose to work with during his return to the company.

In 2020 I returned to @impactwrestling for two reasons.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣

• To destroy a past that I’d forever be linked to. ⁣ As long as I existed, no matter the form, the #toponepercent would haunt me unless I left it for dead.⁣ Sacrificed for a higher purpose.⁣⁣⁣

• To find someone with potential to carry a lost aspect of this industry forward. ⁣ An athlete, a man, an entity, someone powerful, terrifying. ⁣ Someone LEGITIMATE. ⁣ One worth my sacrifice.⁣⁣⁣

• The man I chose was @TheMooseNation ⁣⁣⁣ All the tools. All the promise. Lost on instincts. No guidance.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I returned to push him. To punish him. To torture him. To berate him. To inspire him. To guide him. To teach him..⁣⁣⁣

In a company where management has now become infatuated with the #serotonin release of using someone else’s “star” Moose once again has found himself unwanted. Abandoned.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ This makes him very dangerous.⁣⁣⁣

Only Moose can stand for himself. ⁣⁣⁣ Fight for himself.⁣⁣⁣ Become who he is supposed to be.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ @TheMooseNation You #ControlYourNarrative.⁣⁣⁣ #FreeEC3

Now, as fate intervened (as it often does) Moose has found himself in the #HardToKill main event.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I have done everything I can to push him in body, mind, and spirit. ⁣ ⁣ But now the choice is his. ⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Only Moose can stand for himself. ⁣⁣⁣ Fight for himself

Moose was inserted into the big six-man tag team match at tonight’s pay-per-view. This was late change because Alex Shelley could not attend the event. Shelley later released a video message explaining why he must be absent.

EC3 said that he’s not done with ROH. He will wrestle Jay Briscoe to see if honor is real; a Bound For Glory match that was postponed. ROH is taping right now, but we have not heard where EC3 is right now.

We will have coverage of Impact Wrestling Hard To Kill right here at Ringside News.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
