AEW has many passionate fans who would probably love to tell their story on camera. There is apparently a casting call looking for fans of AEW, but this is not coming from a legitimate source.

The company sent out a notice to fans that they are not doing any type of casting for super fans or aspiring wrestlers. They wanted to make this point very clear that if they were looking for people who meet that description then the announcement would come from them directly.

Just a friendly reminder… If @AEW were casting for super fans or aspiring wrestlers, the information would be on #AEW’s official social media platforms and website.

Please beware of anyone claiming to be working for or with AEW.

AEW has also needed to advise fans in recent memory about people setting up fake social media accounts for Brodie Lee’s family. It’s a good thing that AEW is able to get ahead of issues like this because there is no way to tell what the motive could be when someone falsely represents themselves.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
