WWE is always locking down any name that they want to use on television. They recently copyrighted a few new names, one of them could be a decent faction name as well.
According to Heel By Nature, WWE filed trademarks for Valentina Feroz, Shou, The Hand, and 手 (The Hand). The last trademark was filed as an image mark. Shou means “hand” in Chinese.
These trademarks were filed on December 30th. Valentina Feroz is the new name for Rita Reis. She signed with WWE in 2019 and just made her NXT debut in a losing effort to Mercedes Martinez.
It’s very possible that The Hand is somehow related to Xia Li and Boa’s current storyline. They are set to make a return to WWE NXT at New Year’s Evil.
