2020 was a memorable year for a lot of people. Bayley might have topped PWI’s list of women wrestlers, and Sasha Banks pulled down the Slammy. Asuka still topped an even more impressive list.

Redditor omgitzjay28 posted list of top 10 most worked matches in WWE. This was thanks to data from CageMatch. Asuka topped that list with 64 matches.

Coming in second was Angel Garza with 58 and then Ricochet behind him with 55. WWE Champion Drew McIntyre came in 4th with 54 matches and Seth Rollins ranked in #5 with 53. You can check out the list below.

WWE did away with house shows in 2020 because of the pandemic. Odds are those live event tours are not coming back in the same fashion. That also means that the total matches for any Superstar is limited. That is why Asuka’s number of 64 tops the list when most Superstars used to wrestle over 100 matches by the end of a year.

Asuka also won roughly 60% of her 2020 matches so that’s an added bonus. It was an eventful year for Asuka, but she was consistently featured throughout 2020 in a big way, closing out the year as RAW Women’s Champion.
