Update: The fake Brodie Lee Jr account has been taken down.
Original: Brodie Lee passed away, and his son Brodie Lee Jr was declared the TNT Champion for life. Since his father’s passing, -1 of the Dark Order has received a lot of attention, but the 8-year-old still doesn’t have a social media account.
Someone registered a Twitter account for Brodie Lee Jr, but his mother had to make it clear that it’s not her son behind that account. Amanda Huber posted two stories to Instagram that explained the situation.
“Brodie has no social media accounts. This is so weird and just gross.”
“Never in his life Brodie called me “mommy” and it’s bizarre to read.”
“Please, if you feel yourself creating a fake account for an 8-year-old for attention, please go to therapy and get the help you need. I’m serious. Therapy is amazing and world changing. It’s changed my life personally. Also, this isn’t ok.”
Brodie Lee Jr will probably get a Twitter account, but the account that is gaining so much attention online is not his. Hopefully, Twitter will do something about this issue because he already has about 8,000 followers who think they are really following Brodie Lee’s son.
