WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg is a two-time WWE Universal Champion and has had two runs in WWE so far. His current contract is set to expire within the next two years. At his current age, it is a question as to how long he will carry on competing inside the squared circle.

Goldberg recently spoke to the Bleacher Report, where he addressed the future of his in-ring career. He said that he will continue to compete as long as he is physically able to.

“We always have to cross that bridge when we come to it.” “I’m 53 years old, I’ll be 54 here in a couple of weeks. Hey, as long as my body can still do it, I’m still going to do it.

The WWE Hall of Famer further added that it is very difficult for him to continue to be a power wrestler in WWE at his current age. He is simply no longer the person he once was during the earlier years of his career.

He wonders whether he should continue competing at the risk of ruining his legacy, but ultimately, he needs to earn a paycheck.

“There are a lot of things that come into consideration, and at the end of the day, I’m a businessman,” he continued. “I do what I got to do to stay afloat and stay out there. I don’t see myself hanging it up any time soon, but then again, I also don’t see myself wrestling until I’m 60.”

Goldberg is currently considered to be challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania 37. We will have to see how the company will book the feud.
