Bobby Fish and The Undisputed Era were victorious at NXT TakeOver: WarGames, but in the process Fish suffered an injury during the match. Fish had to undergo triceps surgery on December 7 to repair the injury.

When the news first came out of the injury and surgery, it was not known when Bobby Fish would be making a return to the squared circle but it now seems we have an update.

According to a report by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the nature of the injury is minor and there was no tear. Fish is expected to make a full recovery within eight weeks.

“In his case, it was said to be a freak accident. A piece of the cage pierced his elbow and severed the triceps.”

It was not noted how his absence will affect future plans for his Undisputed Era brethren.
