WWE will give their Superstars and staff a little break on Christmas this year. December 25th falls on a Friday, and they are getting to pre-tape an episode for once.
Ringside News reported that SmackDown’s Christmas episode will be pre-taped. We had heard that they were weighing their options in regards to when they will tape the episode that will air on Christmas night.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that the company still hasn’t decided on when they will tape their Christmas episode of SmackDown. They are leaning toward December 22nd or December 23rd.
For the 12/25 Smackdown show, right now it will be taped either 12/22 or 12/23, most likely the latter day but it’s not official right now. Ringside News was the first to report it being a taped show
We had heard that the 23rd was a possibility, but it wasn’t official yet. It is still unknown if they will have fans in the ThunderDome for that Holiday episode of SmackDown. We will continue to monitor this situation here at Ringside News.
