Kevin Owens Would Love To Be WWE Tag Team Champion With Sami Zayn

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were friends before WWE. They came from the same part of Canada and soon became close on the road. Zayn wore a mask during a majority of their time together, going as El Generico the generic luchador.

Owens and Zayn have been on the same side in WWE since they both arrived. They haven’t been in a title chase. While doing a Q&A with WWE Now India, Kevin Owens was asked if he would like to have a legit tag team title run with Zayn.

Kevin Owens would love to hold a tag team title with anyone. Sami Zayn would be a really special partner for him considering everything they’ve gone through.

“I would love to be Tag Team Champions, with anybody really, but Sami would be, you know, obviously a bit more special than anyone else because of the history we’ve had and like he mentioned we’ve been Tag Team Champions before, so that would be great. I would be absolutely open to that for sure.”

Owens and Zayn were once thought to fight forever, but then they went their separate ways. We’ll have to see what the future holds, but odds are Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will find each other again eventually. The big question is which side they will be on.
