Sting is now with AEW, and he left a lot of unsold merchandise in WWE’s warehouse in the process.

We previously reported that Sting wanted a cinematic match against The Undertaker. That didn’t appeal to Vince McMahon despite fans asking for it. Sting’s contract ended, and his merchandise was taken down from WWE’s shop 90 days later.

It is now being reported by WrestleTalk that Sting was “unhappy with how WWE treated him during his time with the company.” He only had a handful of matches, and he was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, but then he disappeared.

The Icon signed with AEW because he wants to do “something good.” He will have a lot of chances under a new multi-year contract.

Sting is now in AEW where he will be used on a more regular basis. Fans will have a better idea what to expect when The Stinger shows up on AEW Dynamite next week. He will address his AEW status at that time.
