While they may not currently share the spotlight together as a team, nobody can forget about or deny the overwhelming impact Matt and Jeff Hardy have had on the pro wrestling industry – and that’s especially true for tag team wrestling.

There are young and interesting teams coming up through the ranks in every major promotion around the world and while they may not be responsible for all of them, they’ve definitely played a huge role for many.

After Top Flight’s AEW signing as confirmed, Matt was happy to reiterate how humbled he is by that.

I’m proud to have blazed the trail (and inspired the photo) for young tag teams like @officialairwolf & @lucha_angel1. Thrilled that #TopFlight is now part of the @AEW team. FYI, I’m very humble & giving – I’m always available to teach you about the biz.

We can’t guarantee it 100%, but you’d have to think there is a good chance Matt and Jeff will team together again before they ride off into the sunset.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
