We are deeply sad to learn about the passing of UK indie wrestler Cameron Wellington. He was only 19-years-old.

The UK indie wrestler reportedly passed away due to COVID-19 according to the Daily Mail. He was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus last Tuesday and by Wednesday night his mother rushed him to the hospital in Walsall, England. He passed away only 48 hours following his positive test result.

It was said that Wellington was “fit and healthy” before he was diagnosed with COVID-19. His mother was called about an hour after dropping him off at the hospital and she was told his oxygen levels were plummeting.

Cameron Wellington was put on dialysis and placed in the ICU. Doctors operated on his lungs, and then he was placed in a specialist’s care. He sadly passed away at the second hospital.
