Joey Ryan was a focus in the #SpeakingOut movement, and he denied all of the allegations against him. He also expressed interest in his hour-long denial video of taking some of his accusers to court.

Ryan filed several multi-million dollar lawsuits against a few of his accusers, and one former ROH wrestler who he claims damaged him through social media posts.

According to Heel By Nature, Pelle Primeau is attempting to get Joey Ryan’s libel lawsuit dismissed. On November 18th, Pelle Primeau filed a motion to dismiss the case in California.

This multi-million dollar lawsuit alleges that Primeau caused damages resulting in Ryan losing a ton of work after the former ROH wrestler tweeted about Ryan. In his lawsuit, Joey Ryan said that Primeau should defend himself in court. Primeau’s legal representation filed a 23-page response claiming that since the tweets were in a “worldwide forum,” then he should not be subject to any personal jurisdiction in the state of California.

Primeau also set up a GoFundMe to help pay for his legal fees after Joey Ryan leveled this lawsuit against him. Their case will be heard on December 21st, and Primeau’s legal team is seeking that the judge dismiss the case at that time.
