Cody Rhodes is on top of the pro wrestling world as an EVP of AEW, but that isn’t where his journey will end. He has plans after pro wrestling, but he also has a long way to go before that time comes.

While speaking to Bleacher Report, Cody Rhodes discussed his plans for after his pro wrestling career is over. At this point, he has aspirations of running for senate in Georgia. In about five years fans might see that happen.

“I’m 35, and I said I only wanted to wrestle for five more years.  I have political aspirations. I would love to run for the senate in the great state of Georgia.  I want to help with the sphere of influence I have created. I always say if you do the work, it will pay off.”

Born in Marietta, Georgia, Cody Rhodes could be a formidable voice in politics. We’ll have to see that the second generation decides to do, but he seems to have his options open.
