SmackDown and RAW are set to do battle at Survivor Series, WWE’s yearly pay-per-view where both brands face each other for supremacy. The blue brand added Seth Rollins and King Corbin to this year’s team, and Rollins calls dibs on leader.

.During Talking Smack this week, Seth Rollins declared himself Captain of Team SmackDown. He said that there’s only one great leader on the blue team, and that is him. This is not an official announcement from WWE just yet.

“Let’s be honest. I know everyone thinks they’re leading and that’s fair. I appreciate that, I like that gamesmanship. But the truth is there’s only one great leader, one great redeemer and that is me. I will be leading Team SmackDown – for the first time in my career, mind you, against Team RAW at Survivor Series.”

AJ Styles tried the same thing over on RAW by declaring himself the Team Captain. That is still an assignment which remains self-appointed. We’ll have to see how everything pans out as we get closer to November 22nd, but Seth Rollins seems pretty confident that he is the right man for the job.
