WWE Hell in a Cell featured a thirty minute match between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso. That Universal Title match was initially much different.

Jey ended up saying “I Quit” when Roman Reigns gave him little choice. Reigns had Jimmy Uso locked in a hold which caused his brother to give up the fight. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter things were almost a fatal four-way.

It wasn’t revealed who the fourth person would have been, but it was reported that Reigns, Bray Wyatt, and Braun Strowman were initially booked for a fatal four-way match at the pay-per-view. This would explain why things seemingly dropped off with Reigns and Wyatt.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Alexa Bliss stared Roman Reigns down for a reason. You also never know if and when plans could change in Vince McMahon’s company.

Wyatt and Strowman moved to RAW, and the match was changed to Reigns vs Uso once again due to the incredible reception the feud received.
