How Much Notice Jake Hager Gave AEW Before Next Bellator Fight

Jake Hager is gearing up for another fight in Bellator. This will be his fourth excursion in the cage, and he is looking to keep the undefeated streak going.

According to Fightful Select, Jake Hager cleared everything with AEW so they knew about the situation in advance. They also took care of any storyline issues to get him off television for an amount of time for him to train.

He clarified that he lets AEW know the situation as soon as possible so they can take care of any storyline issues to get him off television for the appropriate amount of time.

Hager also made a joke that as long as he keeps winning then AEW has no problem with him fighting in Bellator.

We previously reported that Jake Hager knew about this fight for a while. They just didn’t announce it until ten days prior to the fight. He will take on another undefeated fighter, Brandon Calton during the prelims of Bellator 250 on October 29th.
