Chad Gable Quit Being Shorty G On WWE SmackDown

Chad Gable had a rough go in WWE. He came from NXT as a member of American Alpha, but that team disbanded. Then he had trouble finding his ground. They turned him into Shorty G, and now that’s over.

Gable was relabeled “Shorty G” by King Corbin when they were having a storyline that went nowhere. Shorty G was not drafted in the 2020 WWE Draft, and he was a bit bummed about that. This week on SmackDown, Lars Sullivan destroyed him.

After losing to The Freak, Shorty G cut a very brief interview with Kayla Braxton. He said “I quit” before leaving.

Adam Pearce approached him afterward where Shorty G said “I quit being Shorty G.” He said “I don’t accept this Shorty G crap.” In the end, there is only one man who can achieve what he wants, and his name is Gable.
