Kenny Omega was set to take on Joey Janela during AEW Dynamite this week. Sonny Kiss had to replace Janela. We’re not sure how that match was originally booked, but Omega definitely made a statement.

Omega’s Cleaner character returned during AEW Dynamite this week. He received a long introduction from Justin Roberts which included mentions of breaking Dave Meltzer’s 5 star ratings system and being so fluent in Japanese that he sometimes interprets Michael Nakazawa’s subtitles.

Then Omega took to the ring and defeated Sonny kiss with a running knee and a One Winged Angel. It was a fast, and violent match which you can see below.

After the match was over, Omega got Kiss back up and made sure he was okay before leaving.
