Joey Ryan lost a lot of money when the #SpeakingOut movement included multiple allegations against him. He has denied those allegations and claims to have proof of his innocence. Now he is taking his former employer to court.

Impact Wrestling fired Joey Ryan during the #SpeakingOut movement. According to PW Insider, Joey Ryan filed a lawsuit against Impact Wrestling’s parent company Anthem Wrestling LLC alleging that they company is in breach of contract. He is seeking $10 million.

This is the sixth lawsuit that Joey Ryan has filed in the past several weeks. He is also seeking multi-million dollar lawsuit against three of his accusers.

In the lawsuit against Impact Wrestling’s parent company, it is alleged that Joey Ryan “signed a contract on 9/1/19 that was slated to run through 8/31/21 but that contract was breached when Impact Wrestling Executive Scott D’Amore emailed Meehan on 6/22 to inform him that the company was no longer going to be booking him due to ‘recent allegations.'”

It is said that following that email, Joey Ryan received a formal release notice from the company. It was said that the end of his contract was being “amended” on June 22nd, and they released him.

The lawsuit alleges that Anthem Wrestling did not perform as guaranteed in the “expressed language of the contract to follow and abide by the terms prescribed” in the terms of termination in the contract. Joey Ryan’s lawsuit also says that Anthem Wrestling “failed to perform as guaranteed by failing to adhere to the express terms.”
