WWE has welcomed Superstars back to the company before. Whenever a former Superstar is released or leaves a different company the thought is always going to be out there that a WWE return is probable. The rumor mill is turning once again for RVD.

The Whole F’n Show left Impact Wrestling recently. His contract actually expired some time prior to that, and he was working under shorter deals. Now both RVD and Katie Forbes are free agents.

We’ve been asked by our awesome readers if WWE is talking about bringing RVD back to the company. This was fueled even more by the man himself when he said that he was working on couple of WWE projects.

Ringside News has learned that at this time RVD’s name has not come up internally within the company. That isn’t to say it won’t come up eventually. It’s just not coming up right now.

RVD’s situation could be much like so many others. WWE definitely knows he’s a free agent, but they just don’t need him right now. If a time comes when they have a role he could play then there’s nothing keeping them from giving Rob Van Dam a call.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
