Tonight, Kyle O’Reilly faces the biggest challenge of his in-ring career as he attempts to capture the NXT Championship in his main event match against Finn Balor at NXT TakeOver: 31.
O’Reilly has always been a capable performer both in tag and singles wrestling but over the course of the last few years, he’s focused most of his attention on The Undisputed Era.
The man who has been leading that group, Adam Cole, has spent the last decade seeing how much Kyle has grown.
I met Kyle at “The Arena” in Philadelphia in 2009. We literally grew up together in the industry. Glad I will be there for his big night. It’s time to (future)shock the system.
Some believe that we could be on the verge of a betrayal at TakeOver from Cole but regardless of what happens, the match itself has the potential to be one of the best TakeOver bouts in recent memory.
