Dominik Mysterio Reveals There Are Still Talks Of Him Wearing A Mask In WWE

Dominik Mysterio impressed a lot of people with his debut in WWE, and he will continue his family’s legacy in the squared circle. He might even get a mask eventually.

Rey Mysterio laid down trademark for Prince Mysterio. A lot of fans expected that to be Dominik’s ring name, but it wasn’t. There is still time for that to happen.

While speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Dominik Mysterio revealed that there is still talk of him wearing a mask and going as “Prince Mysterio.” This hasn’t happened yet, but you never know how WWE could make it come to pass via a storyline.

“There’s still talks about [wearing a mask]. We would like to get into the traditions of Lucha Libre which would be putting a mask on me and taking on the name, but I think that’s all down the line in the future.”

Dominik said that people already know his face which defeats the purpose of the mask, but “I think I can come up with a unique way to bring a mask into my character.” He also confirmed that his goal is to eventually become “Prince Mysterio” in the ring.

This is a very interesting concept, and it could work. It might be hard to cover Dominik’s face since everyone knows what he looks like already, but it sounds like they have a plan.
