WWE is always looking to lock down intellectual property with trademarks. They have now done just that with two more Superstars.

The company recently filed trademarks on September 24th for Chelsea Green and Dominik Mysterio. Now those names are WWE’s to use in the usual ways that those trademarks are registered for.

Dominik Mysterio isn’t his real name because his real last name Gutierrez. Chelsea Green’s real name is Chelsea Anne Green. So, we have another instance of WWE locking down a Superstar’s real name with a copyright.

This could be a sign that WWE is planning to use Chelsea Green. She was called up to the main roster in December, but she moved back for a short program with the Robert Stone Brand. After she fired Stone, many thought she was main roster bound. This hasn’t happened for her yet.

Dominik’s father Rey Mysterio also filed trademark for “Prince Mysterio.” It appears WWE isn’t using that name as Dominik is now a top babyface on RAW while using his actual first name.
