Joey Janela & Sonny Kiss Take Big Shot At Jim Cornette With Name Of AEW Tag Team

Jim Cornette has made no secret about the fact that Joey Janela is not his favorite wrestler. The Bad Boy also isn’t afraid of ruffling Cornette’s feathers either. That is quite evident after AEW approved the name of Janela and Sonny Kiss’ new tag team.

Janela revealed that AEW has given them permission to use “The New New Midnight Express.” This, of course, is a play off the legendary team managed by Jim Cornette.

The first incarnation was Dennis Condrey and Randy Rose with the second including Condrey, Bobby Eaton, Stan Lane, and manger Jim Cornette. Now the New New Midnight Express is Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss. It’s highly unlikely that Jim Cornette will manage them.
