Footage Surfaces Of Seth Rollins Calling Dominik Mysterio ‘Buddy’ During SummerSlam Match

Seth Rollins and Dominik Mysterio had an impressive match at SummerSlam. Rollins called the action in the ring. We know this thanks to Maffew of Botchamania as he brought this to everyone’s attention in a big way.

Vince McMahon was very proud of Dominik’s performance at SummerSlam. He greeted the multi-generation Superstar with a huge hug in Gorilla Position and some very encouraging words as well.

Maffew uploaded a video of Seth Rollins and Dominik’s SummerSlam encounter. It is pretty clear what Rollins is saying as he called for Dominik to hit a frog splash inside the ThunderDome.

“Frog splash, buddy! Frog splash, go!” can be clearly heard in the video. Then Dominik Mysterio made his way up and hit that frog splash on his buddy Seth Rollins.

This was not intended to be picked up on the microphone, but anything can happen in WWE. The ThunderDome might have faces all around the ring, but they are not providing the usual noise that a real crowd does to cancel out that spot calling.

You can check out the video below. This clip is getting a lot of traction. Let’s see if WWE’s writing team notices and inserts the word “buddy” into Dominik Mysterio or Seth Rollins’ lines during RAW this week. If that happens it would be 100% intentional that time.
