WWE is always registering new trademarks, and they added two more to their extensive collection this week.

Tehuti Miles is now known as Ashante Adonis. He made that switch this week on NXT in a match against Velveteen Dream. That match also got a lot of fans heated, but it had nothing to do with Adonis. They were mad because WWE hasn’t fired Velveteen Dream yet.

The company has locked down Ashante Adonis’ name with a trademark. They also registered one for “Desmond Troy” according to Heel By Nature. We have no idea who Desmond Troy is yet, but we’re likely to find out soon enough.

WWE can sometimes give fans a hint about what is to come with a copyright. Fans were all expecting Wobbly Walrus’ debut in the Firefly Fun House. Now we have a walrus in Bray Wyatt’s Fun House as his “special advisor.”

We’ll have to keep an eye on the NXT roster to see if anyone sees their name change to Desmond Troy. It’s unlikely that is the name of another new Firefly Fun House friend.
