WWE Expected To Bring Back Previously Released Announcer Soon

WWE had to make some tough cuts on April 15th. Several people were released, and while some have found their way to other companies others are still out of work. WWE could bring one of them back.

According to PW Insider, WWE is looking to bring back Nigel McGuinness. It is said that he could return soon. No other details were provided, but it stands to reason why WWE needs good announcers.

Mauro Ranallo leaving the company caused some changes to be made. Wade Barrett was brought back, and WWE is talking about longer deal for him now.

We’ll have to see where WWE places McGuinness if they bring him back. He was previously on the NXT announce team with Mauro Ranallo and Beth Phoenix. Now Phoenix is the only one of those two who are still with the company.

The new NXT announce team appears to be Vic Joseph, Wade Barrett, and Beth Phoenix. With NXT UK starting up again on September 17th, that seems like a perfect place for Nigel McGuinness if they can make it work.
