WWE Locks Down Several More NXT Superstar Names

WWE has been locking down quite a lot of names recently. They weren’t done and have filed copyrights for even more talent.

Filings indicate that WWE registered several more trademarks on August 10th. They locked down names for several NXT UK Superstars and one NXT Superstar. This falls in line with recent filings as WWE has been securing a lot of their developmental names.

Names included in this recent wave of filings are Sam Stoker, Lewis Holley, Joey Coffey and Mark Coffey from NXT UK. WWE also registered a trademark for Santos Escobar from NXT, the former el Hijo del Fantasma.

WWE has not announced a return for NXT UK yet. They told the roster to be ready and WWE continues to make sure that those names are secured as well. We will keep an eye on this situation to see if WWE decides to file more copyrights in the next few days.
