Top WWE NXT Superstar’s Injury Is Legitimate

WWE NXT needed to figure something out as they started to stack the card for NXT TakeOver: XXX. One Superstar needed to be pulled from the match and that was not their preferred direction.

William Regal announced during NXT last week that Dexter Lumis was pulled from the five-man ladder match for the NXT North American Title. He suffered what they believe to be an injury. This is not just part of the storyline.

Bryan Alvarez noted on the F4WOnline Message Board that Lumis did actually injure himself. This isn’t just part of the show. He suffered this ankle injury during a recent episode of NXT as he did a flip to the outside of the ring.

Dexter Lumis has a lot of potential and they obviously wanted to put him in such a high profile TakeOver match. He will hopefully recover and get back to action as soon as possible.

WWE will determine who gets Lumis’ spot by holding a match featuring everyone who didn’t lose their triple threat qualifying match.
