Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder) Debuts On AEW Dynamite

Matt Cardona is now a part of AEW. He made a run-in to save Cody Rhodes following The American Nightmare’s match against Warhorse.

The Dark Order tried to attack Cody, but Warhorse shoved Cody away and took a beating before they turned their attention to Cody. Then the former Zack Ryder made his AEW debut.

Matt Cardona walked out and made his way to the ring. He looked jacked and the announce team brought attention to this fact. Cardona took out the Dark Order and then they cut to commercial.

It’s unclear what kind of deal AEW has with Matt Cardona. His non-compete clause did just expire on his WWE contract. Cody and Cardona are good friends and Rhodes previously said that Cardona will get over again.
